Atromitos 0-1 Panathinaikos: Mask-less Ninis clinches win for Trifylli

Sotiris Ninis scored the all-important goal in Peristeri on Wednesday as his Panathinaikos side  defeated Atromitos 1-0 to remain in top spot in the Super League play-off standings. Having missed the last two games through injury, Ninis returned from a broken nose sporting a mask to start the game. Just five minutes after taking his protective mask off, the Greek international scored the winner to eliminate Atromitos from contending for a spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League.
