Greece 1-1 Slovenia: Kurtic Equalizer Keeps Greece in Check

Greece’s preparations for UEFA EURO 2012 continued on Saturday night with a friendly against Slovenia at the Kufstein-Arena in Kufstein, Austria. An early goal from Vassilis Torosidis put Fernando Santos’ men in front after just eight minutes, but a late equalizer from Slovenia through Jasmin Kurtic — a rocket off the Greece upright — kept Greece from securing a win in the first of two friendlies ahead of the final tournament in Poland and Ukraine.
